Top of the ninth down one with runners on second and third in a win or go home situation. Forsythe coming to the plate 0-3 with a couple of Ks. Do you pinch hit for him and if so with whom and what defensive replacement do you make if you get to the bottom of the inning?

How many outs? That is a big impact on the decision. I’m honestly not sure that I would pinch hit. It just doesn’t feel like there is anybody on the bench who is THAT big of an upgrade over Forsythe’s bat, even as bad as that bat is.

Not sure who the bat is. I'm guessing McDonald? For defensive replacement, do you put Legget at third and move James to SS?

Depends on the pitcher but I would pinch hit there for sure. Probably Skinner if it’s a righty and then put Leggett at SS for the bottom of the 9th

I pinch hit him with Tanner Allen who I was resting that game (which is why we are behind). They can't walk TA because a red-hot Rowdy is on deck. I then put Legget in at SS.
