First episode reaction: HOLY 17

Looks like this is going to be the best of the 3 marvel series.

It’s going to be hard to too Falcon and the Winter Soldier just in my opinion.

It did start out really well, however.

A lot of people kinda **** on the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier that it was kinda rushed. I didn’t think it was that bad but it wouldn’t have hurt to have one more episode in there before the finale.

2) Loki (I haven’t watched a second of it yet, it might jump to #1)
3) WandaVision- this show just sucked, IMO

WandaVision would have been awesome if they were able to do what they planned on in the last couple of episodes with Dr Strange but the Rona screwed that up.

shew, I dont even know if Strange could have saved that show.

I understand it was a comic series, but it did not translate to TV very well. To be frank, that **** was booooooring.

Supposedly, the Loki series will have the most implications.

Hopefully Kang the Conqueror makes an appearance.

I liked Wanda Vision better than FandWS too. But I know some people couldn't get past the sitcom stuff.

It was really just the first 2 episodes. The rest were normal marvel stuff. I enjoyed both and really like the backstory they both gave.

I too thought WV was better…. by a large margin. I was really disappointed in F&WS. It was mostly boring, and the racial element annoyed me. I get enough of that on the news; I watch tv to escape the issues in society. Looking forward to Loki.

I just watched it... Interesting, but I hate this multi-verse ****... Shouldn't Loki have to return to his timeline to keep order? Does his mom die and Asguard get destroyed even if he doesn't?

Always best to avoid overthinking time travel.

My prediction is they capture the villian variant and "reset" him to the protag's timeline.

WandaVision was going to be much different before they decided to drop Dr Strange (white man) "mansplaining" Wanda about her powers.

Dr Strange was one of my favorites before and after debuting in the Marvel universe. I'm not going to talk much about it but you can start kissing all the white, male characters in Marvel goodbye.

This doesn't make me mad because they had already started following the Hollywood lead, but make me sad because Marvel did care more about good characters and stories than appeasing the Progressives.

I agree.

The Rona cut subplots from Falcon and winter soldier made it feel rushed and missed on some points (there was a sub plot that had a global pandemic that started after the blipped came back , and the flag smashers were blaming the worldwide government)

Wandavision will have a much bigger ongoing impact. Loki seems to be setting up Phase 4+ much more, and the next big bads.

Same here. I really liked WandaVision because for the first half of the series you were trying to figure out what was REALLY going on. Little clues sprinkled through each episode, having to piece it together - I like shows that operate that way.

I liked F&WS quite a bit as well, but IMO WandaVision was a better show overall.

The one thing I have enjoyed about the Marvel TV shows is that they are all different styles of show and I think that's great. Because as good as most of the movies were, they tended to hit a lot of the same beats.
