The thing that hurts so much to me about Ginn is that in spite of Lemonis being ultra-conservative with him, he still got hit with TJ. However, such is life, and there is absolutely nothing coach could’ve done to be more careful

It happens. My son pitched in high school - pitcher only. We never played summer ball and VERY little tournament baseball - 2 summers and he only played as a substitute for a team for 2 tournaments.

He went JUCO and by third game of his sophomore year, ruptured both UCL's in his right arm. Nothing more could have been done to prevent it and his JUCO coaches were careful with the rotation and bullpen work as well. Sometimes it just happens.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I read here that it was because of "travel ball" and college coaches overworking pitchers. **
