May be using the OM strategy. Plant a recruit in our commit list then pay them a bonus if they can get other commits to flip on signing day.

The coaches so far are pulling together a fairly impressive group. I know we are a long way from the finish line but I can recall ever having the number 8 class at any point. I know its too early to get excited but I can't help myself

After skimming the headline, I thought this was a future baseball commit with Maneri retiring.

But a football commit in an area of ongoing need? Wow. That’s fantastic.

This is the Leach Effect that I was hoping would happen. The benefit of hiring a proven, 'name' coach. I don't care what type of coach you are, whether it's a fundamentals/system/CEO, you have to find a way to attract talent, and it's been proven you need to be in that Top 15 territory if you want to win a championship. Your overall wins and losses are going to be correlated with the caliber of players you sign.

All that to say - thus far, the Leach Experiment has been a success.

Thsts kinda what Taylor was saying. He really liked Miller and he kept the communication open and then he sat and talked to Leach for about 2 hours and decided it felt like home. Said they talked about all kinds of stuff which I can imagine. Leach for 2 unfiltered hours. God only knows what topics he was rambling on about. But the firing of the offensive line coach at LSU made him reconsider his decision and he said he had never stopped talking to Miller

Every pic I have seen of Leach with commits he has on shorts and flip flops with a dip. Dude chills all the time apparently... I'm almost surprised that he doesn't have a White Russian in his hand to make the Dude impersonation complete.

COVID has delayed his shipment of Yeezys, so he’s stuck in the flip flops for now

The things that I love about Leach is he gives much thought to what people think, says what's on his mind, is very intelligent without coming across as a know-it-all, and has a steady, calm demeanor. He can hold a conversation with anyone and is quick with the witticisms.

He had a good thing going at Texas Tech but those people are just a hair less crazy that the Aggies and you know how they are. Come to think of it, when you combine football with anything here in Texas all sense and sensibility goes flying right out the door.
