Why in the world would you think next year would have anything to do with this year? He'll be a full year older. He's a draft worthy talent. I expect him to be our #1 or #2 starter, outside of injury or something.

It amazes me to see the IDIOTIC takes from some of you when it comes to projecting the future. Our pitching staff is going to be lights out next year, and today doesn't change that.

As if we have not had 2-3 absolute studs on the mound step up every single season for the past 30 years. Mississippi State ALWAYS ends up with good to great talent on the mound and next season will be no different. Some seasons are better than others, but we will just reload.

Plus, you have guys like Lovett and a few others who have been waiting on their opportunity with tremendous potential. Guys like that will step up next season as usual. We will be fine whether Fristoe figures it out or not.
