I’ll question his pitching decisions, and then he’ll end up convincing me that he made the right move.

Point blank, I would’ve gone with Harding or Fristoe today. After seeing more of Samford this afternoon, though, I’m not at all sure that we’d have beaten them with those guys, and at the end of the day... we’re going to be in the driver’s seat either way as long as we can get to 2-0. Our pitching advantage is centered around its depth, not it’s top end talent, and as long as we can stay in the winner’s bracket, any team in this regional is going to be hard pressed to win two in a row against the rest of our staff.

Good win today, and I’ve come around to agreeing that Bednar was 100% the right call. Just need Macleod to take care of business tomorrow now

My guess is we saw their midweek guy when we played them earlier, just like they saw ours. I saw speculation that we actually drew the strongest 4 in the field.
