When it says ESPN 3 does that mean ESPN + ?

I am trying to figure out if I will be able to stream the baseball games without the ESPN + subscription.

This is correct.

To be clear, you CAN access any game on ESPN3, if you have a TV provider that includes ESPN.

ESPN+ is an "added subscription" you can get via your ESPN app.

Without the added subscription, you CANNOT access any game that's on ESPN+.

I'm fairly certain that my replies didn't say where our regional games will be shown . . . because I haven't looked into it yet.

Or . . . have I gone insane?

ESPN+ is an add on pay for service. Basically, ESPN televises a **** ton of programming for the cost of cable. They then decided to add even more programming and to offset the increased cost, they added a pay for service.

ESPN+ has the entire 30for30 library, it has thousands of live college and professional games, and it has team documentaries.
You can now watch mid-major and low major games live, thanks to ESPN+. Want to watch that Bradley University Women's Volleyball game?...well now you can with ESPN+. Want to watch Texas State Football? Same thing. Want to watch a cricket game(match?) between some Caribbean team and some random British Colonized country? Same thing.
Add in a bunch of professional soccer and NHL games too.

Again, a lot of this wasnt even available before. They added it and are now charging for it. Some things, like the 30for30 library, were available before and they have now effectively restricted viewing.

That's true, but both DirecTV and Dish qualify you to be able to get ESPN3 (and SECN) assuming you have a streaming receiver, like Roku or Firestick.

And while watching any of those you will see the screen freeze up about every 10 seconds and then the buffering message for another 10 seconds, and then about 5 seconds of the event you’re trying to watch. Rinse and repeat for the entire game. It’s infuriating.
