We just keep bringing this dude into big situations, and he keeps delivering. He walked some folks early on but has buckled down and simply been money.

With the emergence of Cumbest, those are two big time additions that no one was expecting at all at the beginning of the year.

Stone Simmons has moved his way into the pretty damn reliable category too.

I don't think our Omaha dreams hinge on this completely, but if somehow, someway Cerantola gets it together and can give us 3-5 innings each weekend, that would be pretty gigantic.

Hard to risk it in a game that is still in doubt but doesn't do much good to throw him up 10 in midweek. I thought we missed an opportunity up 5 in the ninth on sunday.

I hope we don't have to wait to find out if he has solved the control issue after we are in a losers bracket and desperate for an arm to eat up a couple of innings.

I think at some point with his talent you are going up to hafta bite the bullet and give him fairly meaningful outs if you want to see if he’s an asset or not, because you don’t want to find out 5 years from now how good he is. You may have to have someone shadowing him warming up for if it gets ugly but you hafta find out what you have. Him blowing a 5 run lead in a SEC game would suck, but losing an SEC game won’t cost this team a natty. But for a team that will win a natty via its arms if it does, one more difference maker might be what puts us over the top, and he is a difference maker.

Yea I mean we have matchup guys everywhere, and Lemonis knows it. There's literally no inning that I think we cannot make it out of with minimal damage, except the one where the starter wears down, and I at least understand why he's trying to do that.

Add an effective Cerantola to that and look out.

Lemonis just said on SuperTalk that they brought Tullar in with the expectation that he might be a weekend starter. And that it took a while but is finally starting to click for him now.
