I can't believe nobody is posting about how far Kylin is falling in the draft. The guy the should have been the main focus of our offense the last couple years***. Guess the NFL isn't that impressed either

Running Backs are a dime a dozen in the NFL...plus Kylin had a bad habit of Tapping Out on his Team when they really needed him.

Snoopy by a long shot. Hell of a shortstop too. Even beat Peppermint Patty in a motocross race.

Strangely couldn’t beat Woodstock in tennis though. Seemed unrealistic to me.

Looks like both since he said "and". Maybe he fat thumbed it. I hope he got a nice slice of humble pie and realized he is nothing special.

I think Hill is as talented as any back we have had in a while. But I do think he’s a head case. If he decides to focus on being as good as he can be, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him be a good NFL back.

He’s way more talented than a 7th rounder but being a woke POS cost him.

It will continue to cost him if he doesn’t stop being a victim.

1st and goal from inside the 5. 3rd and less than 2 from anywhere. All Aeris ever did was move the pile forward. Unlike Kylin or Nicky Fitz, Aeris was a one cut and go forward tailback. No dancing outside or giving up real estate by the A Train

He isn't overly talented. Solid college back, but that's about it. He is slow. NFL backs have break away speed. He couldn't run away from college Corners and LBs.

Lot of nfl running backs are slashers without break away speed. EVERYONE in the nfl is fast.

Without thinking too hard, Hoyle Grainger, Walter Packer, Disenzo Miller, JJ Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Jerious Norwood, Boobie Dixon etc, etc. K Hill is not from the same planet as these guys.

Actually, I think the nfl and nba pay extra for woke drama queens. He doesn’t have the mental toughness to make it in the nfl.

I’ll only vote on the ones I’ve seen play. I’d have to go JJ. Dicenzo was special. Norwood was great. I loved to watch Michael Davis and Kevin bouie play. Keifer too. Boobie, wish he had better overall team and qb play.

We got some very good responses on this post. Thanks for commenting. Im sure everyone saw my sarcasterisks. I think Kylin was fairly talented but not nearly what many of our posters thought he was. I remember when everybody was crying to just feed Kylin every down. Also people saying second round pick...lol. Anyway, I hope he decides to get to work and become a great back since he is a Dawgs but he will have to bust his *** and play hard.

Michael Haddix, Vic Ballard, Keffer McGee, Josh Robinson, Wayne Jones, Michael Davis. Kylin Hill isn't even on the list of great MSU running backs.

Big Hoyle last Msu RB to rush for a 1000 yards in pros. Don't leave out Ode Burrell, also had success in pros.

1. Dixon
2. Granger
3.JJ
IMHO

I love me some Michael Davis. The guy was a workhorse. Maybe not the most talented, but I would hate to tackle that dude.

As for RBs in the draft. Unless you are a difference maker right out of the gate, teams would rather use a group of RBs due to the wear and tear they endure on the field. This causes their shelf life to be short. Hard to invest that much draft capital on a player who you will likely not re-sign after their rookie contract.

On a different note, MLB is almost an extinct position in the NFL now. We know how good Errol is, but the league wants smaller, faster run and hit guys who can cover the underneath routes.

I think it was more Leach told him to “focus on the draft” than Kylin quitting on his team. Not that I approve of his selfish behavior the last couple seasons, but Moorhead’s coaching style partly ruined him. He could’ve been a great back under a coach that taught him discipline & humility.

Not sure that says much better about him than if he'd just quit on the team himself.
