STL pitcher hit Gregorious in ribs in next pitch. Don’t think either was intentional, but this will probably lead to some fisticuffs today or tomorrow when Goldschmidt or Arenado get hit.

Girardi got ejected after the second one. As would I if they gave my team a warning after getting plunked twice

Cabrera’s first four pitches weren’t even close to the strike zone. Something was wrong with him.

Yea that could have been SO much worse than it appears, not a lot of padding in the face to fend of 97mph. If I was McClutchen I would have been like John Kruk in the All-Star game after Randy Johnson bout put one in his ear.

Old school SportsCenter was great. Of course, like MTV and everything else, you gotta have new programming, and then woke programming, and then you lose half your audience.

I only watch ESPN for live sports when I have to. Late night SportsCenter with Patrick, Olbermann, Kilborn, Steiner, Scott, etc., was must-see TV in the mid 90s.

right there with you. i haven't watched SportsCenter in at least 10 years. but 90's i watched every night, then watched the reruns all day the next day. over and over

I really liked Kilborn. I think he's a great example of someone who was maybe a little too impatient in his career. He kinda disappeared.
