I've been looking at their stadium. It's basically a poorly done imitation of the stadium we tore down. The outfield is laughable. How long before they tear it down and do an imitation of the New Dude?

I don't know. I don't have the sound on. I've got two TV's in this room and I've got the Swine and South Carolina on the other one with the sound on.

It is why the fans sing Sweet Caroline (an ole miss tradishun stolen by those yanks in Massatusits).
Before they expanded/Reno to what it is now, it really was a mini-me to The Dude.
I imagine they will do something soon in the outfield to add on. However I doubt they do anything with the grand stand for decades. They poured a lot of money into the underneath of the stadium. Which contains players locker room and lounges and coaches offices.

It’s actually a pretty well done imitation-and-adding-to of the stadium we tore down. It’s not going to be long before they really fix their outfield and threaten or surpass us on attendance. (New dude, not the old records). Arkansas as well, I don’t know what keeps them from doing in right field what they have done in left. It looks like if they did that they could overtake us on capacity fairly easily.
And no, that wouldn’t make their stadium nicer than ours.

I spoke with one of the architects that attended the first meeting with Umiss officials wanting to build their new stadium. The officials spread out plans and pictures of Dudu Noble and said “this is what we want”. That’s why we called their stadium “The house that Polk built II”.
of course, Umiss couldn’t raise the money themselves so they got the city to create a tax to carry the debt. The stadium had to be built off campus on city property. Hence the name Oxford-University stadium.

...all subsequent renovations, you can read this. It's done with Oxford tax dollars. The Sharks may have a lot of rich alumni.. but if it's one thing rich people are good at, it's getting other people to pay for things they want.
