Going by this you are assuming the ncaa is going to ban states this year. We shall see

I'm assuming you're saying that Arkansas (#1 in the country), Vandy, MSU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee won't be hosting because of what the NCAA said about the trans laws. But I've read several pieces that have said that nothing will be affected this year. Not sure what this is based on.

Pretty sure Florida and Texas also have the laws that would prevent them from hosting if that is what you assuming.

However it is my belief that the NCAA will use Covid as an excuse to keep them out of trans law states. They will do this hoping to avoid backlash from either side of the issue.

Yeah, I'm just not buying this right now. It's a bridge too far, even for the NCAA.

Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, and Arizona can't host because their states' Medicaid policy explicitly excludes coverage of health care related to gender transition for transgender people.

And Louisville, East Carolina, and Notre Dame can't host because their states require photo ID to vote.

Yes, but Oregon can't host because they have a very controversial law that prohibits hunting in a cemetery.

This map is the reason I think it happens this year. Only Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee have actually passed the law. The others are proposed. I think they are trying to scare the other states into not passing them.

Before I opened your reply, I figured it would be the old "can't spit on the sidewalk" one we've all heard about. There's still a law on the books locally that says something to the effect that you can't drive a car at night downtown without having somebody walking in front of you swinging a lantern.

We have a brand new, never-before-used baseball stadium here they could use for a regional or a super, before Alabama passes their law. Plenty of parking, easily accessible, sort of in the middle of several SEC teams, the whole nine yards. It will have been used by June (or whenever the regionals are) though.

If the top 8 hosts, only 5 states would host and they border each other. KY, TN, MS, AR, and TX.

It was one thing to hold the flag over one states head. Although we heard that for years.

Yes, it is time to take a stand against the insanity of the left. There is absolutely no reason to be allowing men to compete in women's sports. Are we going to allow horses to compete in Men's track next year? How about dolphins in swimming events? They are air breathing mammals after all.
