18?? Where you been? SPS's been making runs over to DW for 3 years now getting Kamkazis and 1/2 pts of Goldschlager. Tonight it finally gets into PJ's....gunna have 2 Mexican Flags and 4 or 5 Budweiser. Listen to some Aerosmith, shoot some pool and watch either Weasel Waggoner or John Bass get in a fight with someone before heading back across the river by way of the old bridge.
Anybody know if Saddawg is still around- He was my buddy .
This is why I’m here for! May be a bit clueless on this post but I’ll be damn it’s posted with passion!!!
Saddawg had that bad accident and he kind of fell off. He could be back as another account but I haven't heard from him since that accident.
And it played ***** Control by Prince once every 27 minutes.
You have no idea. Making a PJ’s run over the old bridge would take years off your life. That trip on I-20 was a blast. Unbelievable that we never had a run in with law enforcement to/from.
Daquiri World is a bar that is just across the river from Vicksburg. For most of the posters, the legal drinking age would have been 18 in Louisiana and 21 in Mississippi. And it wasn't really enforced anyway.
I only know about it because my first girlfriend at state was from Vicksburg.
I always loved the old bridge. Nothing like heavy traffic both ways plus a train to make you really think about physics. I was "studying" static loads and fluid dynamics long before I was in engineering school.
Or a side view mirror off your car.You have no idea. Making a PJ’s run over the old bridge would take years off your life.
It was predestined to age.The good old days....
Now this place is no different than swan lake back in the early aughts. I guess that’s what age will do to you....
Just want to tell you again - thanks for the past 18 years. I have always said I view this site as an online locker room. I come here to talk sports and other ****. Lately, been more other **** but as long as it's something that I enjoy - this site will remain. Been a few times I felt like giving it up but like with anything in life, you move past it.
Here's to many more years unless someone offers me enough to sell it.
