We'd all like to be hitting the ball a little better. Or hell... a LOT better. But it's tough to sweep in the SEC and they did it.

Great weekend. You can bet your *** Kentucky didn’t come here to get swept. Impressive series and good bounce back from last weekends debacle. Let’s carry the momentum into Auburn next weekend.

No such thing as a bad sweep. Kentucky isn’t the worst team we’ll play, they’re probably a borderline regional team if I had to guess.

One thing a sweep does is remove pressure. Now you don’t feel like you have to sweep Auburn on the road next week. It would definitely be nice, but if we just win the series then that’s perfectly acceptable. They seem to be playing better, lost 2 in Fayetteville but probably should’ve won the series.

Auburn is currently standing

at 1-8.

If we are going to keep up with the Jones, we need to win that series.

They needed one more out in key situations yesterday and today and they would've swept Arkansas.

Yes, probably need to win the series but it’s not a huge deal if we don’t sweep. I thought 5-1 was a reasonable goal for this weekend and next and we are now 3/5 of the way there.

Auburn has struggled but they have talent. Their generally a good hitting team and have a couple of pitchers that could cause us problems. I think this is very much a trap series for us on the road, especially since it’s right after a sweep and right before we play Ole Miss and Vandy.
