Enrico Jones??? (early 2000's) or Henderson on the 2013 Omaha team.

[Willow Grove Dawg]

Henderson 0 homers in 2012,2013, or 2014 per hailstate stats. Damned good question

Went to high school with Mr. Brown

Played against him in HS and with him in summer leagues. Nice guy.

Seems like he was at State for Mac’s last year and Polk II’s first year back. If I recall, he had a lesser role under Polk. I think Polk moved him to OF from 2B.

Jaron Shephard was a good player in the early Cohen years. I know he had a big HR against LSU in 2011 to help us come back from down 5 or 6 runs and lock up a spot in the postseason. And then we ended up almost getting to Omaha as a 3 seed.

I didn’t play baseball growing up until 6th grade. We had a two sport rule in our house and I did soccer and basketball. One of my friends parents convinced my dad to let me play. My first ever AB - Michael Brown hit the batter in front of me in the middle of the back. I swear he was throwing 100 mph. I luckily popped up to the 2nd baseman.

I hear ya, a Goodson fastball and Tankersley curve ended my promising baseball career

[msubrave]

Furthest ball I've seen hit was a hanging curve from Pettway that Tiny aka robbie Goodson deposited into the top of an oak tree above the busses behind right field at WC.

[Bulldog Bruce]

Glen did yard one. He also hit and inside the park HR that I had to score from first and he got on my *** because I missed second and went back to touch it.
