Not an etymology expert here, but I believe "ho" is derived from "*****", which Merriam-Webster suggests is mostly gender neutral even back to its Old English/Norse origins, though we'll have to account for the heaps of microaggressions, microinsults, and microinvalidations that have invariably shaped our present patriarchal linguistics. Hos plural, however, triggers me because it looks too much like "his", so I think we'll have to stick to the singular. Also "***** *** ho" would be frowned upon, even in singular, though "stank *** ho" is more open to interpretation
