The funny thing is the elite coaches are struggling in this day in age. Everyone is chasing elite while we are always continuously seeing coaches win with a system with 1-2 super athletes. Recruiting in college thank goodness is leaning towards team basketball players not athletes

Seriously Coach K is struggling with the game now. Unlike college football a top 5 recruiting class means nothing. It’s about building a jr-sr class that are mid range who may never see a pro career with that 1 or 2 superstars. College basketball champs will be won with talented upperclassman that desire to win

Ha! Yes I did but I honestly did! But we ain’t getting him or anyone close. Not necessarily a fan of Howland but we can build a team with 1-2 talented players and a solid upper class. We’ve seen it in so many years in the not so distant past. College game has changed. We now see the 3 1 and dines are struggling. Team play with talent wins in this day and age and I’m thankful. All I’m saying is this team with maturity can honestly compete with anyone. Hell I’ll say even with our ****** play we are talented enough to play inside the top 20. Problem is we haven’t coached them to believe it for 40 minutes a game. We have weaknesses but so does so many in front. Time for players and coaching to step up and show it.

Dude still has an amazing team just like Coach K. They are getting butt kicked because it’s a I not team game. Basketball is righting itself. The game is not 1 and done. It’s a team full of players that are buying in to 2-3 years.

I don’t follow the nba but I suspect the NBA rethinking and restructuring the d league, making more options for those that would be one and done has helped right the ship.

I always enjoy your takes and that is what I’m saying. We need a game with the talented athletes that want to compete that can make the big show bye but the winners will always be built with with guys that just wanna win who have that dream and play for it. Those are the guys that get something from this. The guys who work! Those are the guys that deserve NIL pay not the guys who are getting it through college.
