Netflix- Peaky Blinders, The Last Kingdom, Schitts Creek, Mad Men. There's way more I'm missing, but those are off the top of my head.

Hulu- Letterkenny, Dave (FX),

Amazon- Mr. Robot is a great, underrated show.

There's many more I'm missing, but that's a start.

Did it get better? The first couple of episodes were a jumbled mess for me. ETA: This season. I loved the other ones.

You have to watch the whole season on all of them. It picks up after about the third one but it's a story that has to play out. Lots of moving parts. Lots of good actors. It's different but similar to a Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul type story telling to me.

My wife tried to get me to watch Schitts Creek. I hung in for 3 episodes, but it just wasn't good to me. Does it get a lot better?

Goliath was pretty good. It's on Netflix or Amazon, I don't remember which.

As far as longevity goes, I'm not all the way finished. I think it's good. It's not elite comedy (the office is elite for me), but it's worth the watch to me.

I loved 1, but 2 was probably my favorite. I even liked 3 mainly because Evan McGregor is such a great actor, but this season started great and just became jumbled in the second episode. I may wait for a good rainy hungover day and really focus. I’ve noticed my phone has taken away some enjoyment of really in depth movies and TV shows.

If you watch Vikings, the final season was recently released on Amazon. I had no idea that was happening so it was a pleasant surprise when I stumbled across that last night.

I would give Marco Polo a shot if you liked TLK. It’s about Polos time with Ghengis Khans grandson, Kublai Khan. Don’t know how historically accurate it is, I’m sure they mixed some story lines in, but I’m enjoying it.

The guys acting who plays Kublai is excellent.

Peaky Blinders is awesome. I’m rewatching it now.
As a reply to the whole thread: Alone, season 6 and 7 are great. It’s a reality show. Drop 10 people off, same general area, but completely away from each other. Last person to not quit wins a bunch of money. All seasons are independent of each other, but I was told season 6 was the best to start with. They film themselves.

Found Outlander to be pretty good. Little slow to start out, definitely has historical ties, but the accuracy may be questioned.

For a quick and less serious watch, I enjoyed Ted Lasso. It's a little sappy sometimes, but it's funny too. Definitely different.

Anyone got the scoop on when we getting the next season? I need something to watch.

A few weeks back I read that they were still working on the script for Better Call Saul. They had not filmed anything according to the article, so I would imagine next year on a release.

If you have Prime:

The Expanse, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fleabag, and The Boys are all great currently running shows I'd recommend.

Also ones that recently finished: Man in the High Caste, The Tick, Sneaky Pete, and Mozart in the Jungle were all good watches.

Yes the 4th season is supposed to be an extended season and final season. I had read (2) 6 or 7 episodes parts would conclude the series.

He has the Walter White character down pat. Not a shot at the show, I’m enjoying it, but if you liked/didn’t like Breaking Bad then it’s probably the same for TJ. Different habitat but same animal. I wonder if this series is going to be a stand alone season or something they hope to build on with future seasons.

Concerning The Boys, I've seen that lots of us like that show, so I decided to give it a shot.

I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode . . . and I thought it sucked. Then, I fast-forwarded through the rest of the first episode . . . looking for something that appeared interesting. It never happened.

What am I missing?

Maybe The Boys is just not my cup of tea.

Have you seen Breaking Bad? In my opinion, that's one of the best TV shows ever. The story line and the characters therein are superb.

Also, like others have said, The Last Kingdom is very good.

If you're only willing to watch for 15 minutes, not sure what to tell you.

I'd recommend watching the first 2 (full) episodes before making your mind up. It's a dark, cynical show based on a graphic novel by someone that hates superheroes. I only say 2 episodes because, while the series as a whole is dark, episode one has a much different (and less fun) tone than the rest of the series.

Outlander a STARZ series is on Netflix - at least seasons 1-4 (total 5 seasons). My wife wanted to watch so I agreed and while I agree that it is a little slow to start you can get wrapped up in the characters. Of course it is not completely historically accurate, but they do a good job of weaving the history. Made me do some research on Scottish history and the later seasons set in NC just before the Revolution is interesting. I really like history so that might help me enjoy it. I don't want to spoil anything in case anyone watches, but I think some of the story could have been told without us actually seeing it.

It's odd and dark and sometimes stupid.

FINALLY! Ive been waiting for the final season to drop so I could start it and binge the whole thing. I forget too much in the 6 months to a year it takes sometimes between seasons.
