Should be another playmaker for Arnett!

Hope he can play safety. This one-time transfer deal is really working out for us, assuming it passes. I am sure that eventually we'll lose somebody to Alabama, but in my experience, if someone is starting, they usually don't transfer, even if it's guaranteed playing time elsewhere. Why take that risk.

Maybe this results in the parity we all want. All these guys who get blinded by the blueblood spotlight can now rethink their decisions.

This guy fits the need perfectly, great pick up! The defensive backfield has gone from a distinct question mark at the beginning of last season to one of the team strengths of the next couple years. Nice job for this staff.

Hope he can play safety

Indications are that he will play the field/free safety for us. We have plenty of physical safeties, so it helps getting a safety that will play more behind the box and in coverage.

Love getting these impact transfers who can come in and immediately push for starters reps in 2021. Especially considering Polk, Charlton and this guy have multiple years of eligibility. It’s like getting JUCO transfers who already have extensive D1 experience.

I believe transfers within SEC still have to sit out

While NCAA is going to waive the the sitting out a year for the first transfer, the SEC has a rule on its member schools that will require them to sit out for year
