OG if you have seen State lose to some very good opponents and seen us lose to some very bad opponents. I won't name names. You know who they were.

Oh, and if you were there the night the officials left the Basketball court at the Quonset hut gym with time still on the clock and sent word out a few minutes later that they had called the game completed. Cowards!

Sarge's in Clayton Junction.

Multiple nights of Panty Raids, from north side of campus to South Side of Campus.

Once a week TOTC drill field afternoons as a freshman. Then an hour or two cleaning an Old Springfield weapon.

Burger Chef and Jeff.

Plaza Drive Inn.

Plantation Bell.

You're a MSU OG if you remember Johnnie Cooks pointing to the Miami Hurricanes huddle as he left the field after getting shaken up.

You're a MSU OG if you played intramurals in the tin gym on cold nights.

You're a MSU OG if you laughed at the reaction of the elderly when a foul ball hit the tin roof of the old DNF.

You're a MSU OG if you watched football with no upper decks on either side.

You're a MSU OG if you watched a girl dance on a piece of plywood thrown down on the Hump floor as halftime entertainment.

You're an MSU OG if you had that "8-0 Go Dawgs" Dontae Walker poster distributed by the Clarion Ledger in 1999.

We'd sign up to walk around selling cokes the first half, then find a seat for the second half with money in our pocket. They would melt wax paper on top of the tray of paper cups full of coke. Don't be the idiot who grabbed a tray of sprite, you'd be walking around an hour without moving that lot. Cooooooooke

My wife's brother did that and he got Bear Bryant's auto graph.

You're a MSU OG if you broke your radio while celebrating as Artie Cosby made a 52 yard field goal to beat Memphis State.

You're a MSU OG if you ever played basketball with Jerry Rice in the Tin Gym.

You're a MSU OG if you came back into the stadium after the tornado warning ended to watch the rest of the Troy State game.

You're a MSU OG if you remember the song "Bulldog Blitz."

You're a MSU OG if one of your favorite places to eat in Starkville is Perry Cafeteria.

I'm sure I could come up with more.

eating at Perry cafeteria was very good back when I was a kid. I got to campus and it was horrible. Easily the worst cafeteria. Templeton is the new Perry. Very few people know about it though.

If you remember the mini fighter jet that someone used to drive around in the grass before the north end zone bleachers were put up.

Oh, and I came back after the tornado, just like every other State fan claims.

If you remember winning the Sun Bowl in 1974 then losing it in 1980.

Watched both Emory Bellards last game in Jackson and the last Egg Bowl there as well.

Watched Moulds almost beat Bama by himself in 94 and then get to see JWS beat Bama in 96.

Sit through the tornado warning of the 1994 Arkansas game and Troy game

Rush the field for the 98 Ark game

Actually stayed for the entire Maine game

Go to Midnight Madness for Basktball in the Fall of 95 and see Dontae Jones stand at mid court with Coach Williams, bounce the ball one time, and then dunk it.

stand in a line for 1996 basketball tickets

Remember Sat doubheaders

Remember the Drive of the Game being Jack's drive home to Tupelo

Or hear the crack of a wooden bat and think of Ted Milton !

He was my high school baseball coach. I was a catcher and one time in practice I picked the bunt right up without dragging my hand behind it. He lit into me for about 10 minutes. That’s attention to details.

MSU OG if you had to drive over an hour while praying there would be a Sunday Clarion Ledger edition in the box with an outstanding recap of the Saturday game featuring Rick Cleveland.

Accomplished that in '82-85 too. You could buy those at the convenience store (Chevron now) next to Mr Cook (game nerd place now) on E. Lee Blvd. They had several different soft drink ones that you could buy and wrap around your favorite hoppy beverage can to disguise it.

When you were starving after a night at The Landing / Baba O'Riley's / Cheers / Mac's Supper Club and the only thing open was The House of Bar-B-Que (otherwise known as the House of Death).

All of those. I'd add if you have an original Bulldog Blitz poster.

OG if you were a member of the Bulldogs Only Message Board (BOMB) or Internet Bulldogs Booster Club (IBBC). I’m curious - is there anyone here that was? Which one?

Our Boy Scout troop got to get into games at Memorial by working concessions in the stadium (walking around) the first half and halftime, and then we were free to watch the game the second half. I was po' so that was how I got to go watch college football early on.

You are OG if you never get disappointed with anything in life because pulling for MSU has taught you how to deal with disappointment.

I want to upvote this so badly, but there are 17 likes and I'm not gonna be the a-hole to move it to 18.

Yeah. I can't recall how many times I was at Cheers for the "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here." announcement.
