I realize it is a homer article but they conveniently left out the fact Tulsa had 3 unsportsmanlike calls to zero for State and that Tulsa ran up on State again at the end of the game.

Too bad the writers.for the Jackson rag can’t write like that. That was a reasonable article.

The fight was extremely embarrassing, but this article was wonderfully and non-homerishly written. I had forgotten what unbiased journalism looked like.... this is it and it’s lovely.

Is it the university of Tulsa or Tulsa University?

He says university of Tulsa several times and then says TU several times.

It's just ridiculous abbreviations used in that state. OU is the same way (it's not "Oklahoma University").

Overall I think he had a good article BUT was it really a shocking level of ferocity? Definitely an embarrassment BUT a shocking level of ferocity?

It’s in the bottom 30% of all time fights in my opinion.

Its the University of Tulsa. They say UT because TU is Texas and that would be too confusing. But....UT is also University of Tennessee. So its stupid to me but what do I know. They have had issues in earlier games this year too. And the coach basically defended his players when questioned about it but of course its all Leach's fault

FIFY

And nobody in Oklahoma or Texas ever considers Tennessee... Not since Davy Crockett told em all to go to Hell.

Yea, I really think it was the towel whip that took it all the way to a shocking level of ferocity. Without that it was just your run of the mill post-game brawl.****

Totally fair recap of the game. And I agree some players on each side should sit a couple of games next year.

Florida and Missouri had a brawl where the head coach was the main instigator of the fight and nothing happened to anyone. If Leach suspends anyone that’s fine. If the SEC does that is complete horse ****.

I choose to think Pirate was doing two things in that video. (1) he was getting face time with a recruit; and (2) he got a swig of a good bulldog’s flaskful of dickel.

I would guess there will be a discussion between Cohen and Sankey, to negotiate some player penalties that will be announced and handled internally, so that there is no appearance of the SEC handing down penalties.

If any of our players get punished, who would they be? The only obvious ones I can think of would be Heath and Russell.

I don't know about Russell, but Heath pushed the sob that wanted to fight away on the shoulder pad. It wasn't much of a kick in my opinion.

Yep, it was more comical than anything else. It was just one of the things that stood out on the video.

And if we're going to have a little bias, is it too much to ask for it to actually be in the home school's favor rather than our own beat writer publicly trashing an MSU player?

The world must have seen a different “brawl” than what I witnessed. The only thing in the whole scene worthy of discipline is Malik Heath kicking an opponent while the opponent was on his hands and knees. We pay a lot of money to watch these dudes beat the absolute **** out of each other on every play. We celebrate guys like Nikoe Whitley for being violent hitters, but want to clutch our pearls when that violence spills outside the boundaries of the game? Get that **** out of here. It’s a violent, emotional game and this time there was some extra curricular stuff before and after the game. Nothing about that little skirmish makes me embarrassed to be a State fan. Malik Heath, however, needs to find somewhere else to be.

Heath should be suspended or gone simple Bc he is a dumb ****.

Not Bc he PY kicked a guy but Bc he did it, ran, then talked **** abt it on a video right after game while watching what he did.
