I’m confused. Why is Cohen to blame for that? All I see is a tiktok with women’s basketball players dancing

Not 100% sure you’re getting at this or not but I’ll add my opinion on what I think you’re hinting at...
I really hope the ladies coach works out, but I don’t like some of the things I’ve seen off the court from her and how some of that has transferred on the court. Her and the team feel like they’re friends, if you follow their social media presence at all. Like they sit around and talk about shopping and fashion and recipes and all the **** women talk about. I don’t think this is a good player-coach type relationship, but maybe I’ll be way wrong about that (and hopefully so).
In one of our games in which we were winning handily in the first half, coach got after Rickea verbally as the half ended and they were walking back to the tunnel. She was trying hard to emphasize a coaching moment there. Rickea took both her hands and grabbed coach’s cheek to engage in the conversation. I’ve never seen a player comfortable doing that with a coach before. Maybe that’s what players these days need, but it just felt like Rickea was more in charge than the coach.
I hope I’m wrong and maybe I’m overreacting. But i don’t like what I see so far.

i am not sure what this is about specifically, but i agree with you overall...
i really don't know why i feel this way either.....i was never on board with him becoming AD....i wish he were more like Byrne and Stricklin and less like Templeton (although cohen will spend some cash on coaches)....
im not a fan of Ray Tanner at USC either.....i think both should have stayed in baseball .....i hope he succeeds and leads MSU to a natty in every sport, but just don't have the gut feeling thats all....

Agreed, but that Ms got nothing to do with the video, unless I guess people think that represents MSU in some way.
People don't like me saying this, but I think we missed our window to win a national title(very MSU of us). We had a brief moment in time when the conditions just fell into place, and we had back to back years to do it. That second year should have been it, but we blew that game against ND. I think our program is still good, and hopefully it'll remain good, but we're not elite.
Cohen sucks for a number of reasons but that video doesn’t move the needle for me. Maybe you have a misconception about the identity of that team and program but the video is on-brand from my perspective.
I think anybody that watches the girl bent over shaking her butt realizes they are choosing to be sexualized.

It’s obvious that what you don’t like is young black women wearing the Mississippi State uniform dancing in a way you deem inappropriate. Blaming Cohen indicates that you believe he should not only share your values, but stringently enforce them on student athletes. All of this, sir, is a YOU problem.
Knowing what standards Cohen held baseball players to, I'm sure Cohen doesn't like players twerking in a Mississippi State University uniform for the world to see. However based on the replies in this thread, some State fans are all for twerking.

I think you can say that about any social media. Facebook, Tik tok, Instagram. It’s all a bunch of people wanting attention. That goes for the college girl dancing, the woke idiot wanting to cancel everything and the 65 year old man posting memes with false information telling everyone to “wake up”. No one would post any of that crap if they never got any attention or feedback from it.

I'll say this. We may have a shot at a natty possibly this year or next year, because the talent level is so high, it's just a matter of them clicking together. Beyond that, who knows, but I can't imagine it's anywhere close to Vic.
This has got to be one of the worse threads in the history of this board. So what 18-21 year old girls are doing what 18-21 year old girls do. I do recall some baseball players...a lot of baseball players shooting an entire music video while in uniform in the stadium some years back, did you take issue with that? Seems to me like your issues stem from other places.

Why don’t you link the baseball video because I am sure that video has filthy lyrics and guys humping air or you wouldn’t have posted your delusional comment comparing the two as the same.
So state athletes doing things in their athletic uniforms can’t be compared? Can we just lock this up because we all know where it’s headed
