Maneiri indicated to this reporter they are looking at playing 40 conference games with 4-game weekends having one game Friday, one game Saturday, and a 7-inning DH on Sunday. (Teams left to schedule 16 non-conference games as they see fit.) Not sure why they would schedule the DH on Sunday instead of Saturday, since doing it on Saturday would give you more flexibility with weather always being dicey that time of year.

I doubt Trump goes away right away and will manage to keep himself and his crew in the media in the coming months, so I guess that could be what they talk about?
I hear covid is still an issue, so maybe the media will continue to obsess over that?

Yeah I’m with you. The SEC handled the football season beautifully but that is a bit of a head scratcher. Is the exit time still a thing for Sunday play? I fear they may make it Th-Sunday but I’m not sure how that affects players with Friday classes if they are out of town half of the SEC weekends.

My initial comment was done simply because the claim that itll go away after the election popped into my head when I read your hope about it being handled by baseball season. It wasnt a trump/biden comment directly, it really was just me dredging up a claim that was made on here dozens of times over.


Here is a genuine response to your post in an effort to get this back on the right path- I doubt covid will be gone to the extent necessary to allow full stadium capacity. It is great that alternate plans are being made ahead of time to help increase the odds of games being played.
