As you said, if one of the name programs offer, we likely don't get him. All signs indicate we are currently his fall back plan. Prospects at Louisville seem to be tough pulls for us and that makes very little sense to me.

Kiffin makes some dumb decisions. Firing Deke (and T-Buck if it happens) when they are a couple of your best recruiters, just unbelievable. Then what he did to Pounders. Just makes no sense.

It's talent, talent, talent. Recruiting is more important than coaching. Funny how Ole Miss' defense was awesome in 2014 and 2015, but terrible in 2016 and 2017. Did Dave Wommack just get dumb all the sudden? No, they were too busy recruiting WRs than they were DLs.

Is Bob Shoop a bad coach because he had a bad defense in 2019? He had a top defense in 2018.

But, in fairness, that’s no different than the current MSU staff pitching Fletcher Cox and Chris Jones to current DL recruits. They’re both ridiculous, but part of the requirements in this wild *** game that is recruiting.

I believe Townsend brought in Dantzler. There's no issue with Forbes and Emerson. The issue is that we don't have anyone behind them that's on TBuck.

Tom Allen, who was the LB Coach and Special Teams Coordinator from 2012 until he accepted the DC position at FSU, in December 2014.

Dantzler was recruited under Mullen so his lead recruiter was Knox (Mullen recruited areas). The other two were recruited by Buck. Two guys in how many years? Buck wasn’t this stalwart that he’s made out to be.

Buckley might not have done much the first 3 years. Tyler Williams is really it and that’s TBD on the impact of his career at State. Fred Peters was a player and would have been a significant upgrade this year had he not been injured.
