Such a J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets thing to do

[Bulldog Bruce]

Why?

They get Justin Fields as a consolation prize, but Trevor Lawrence is a generational player. The Jets can't even tank games properly.

TTrevor Lawrence is a generational player.

I thought Tua was this generations QB or was it Burrow. I get confused with having a different generational player every year

I would say Lawrence is probably the most hyped of the three. Tua was great but always had the durability questions. Burrow came from out of nowhere and had that amazing year at LSU which rose him up the ranks quickly.

Lawrence has been hyped as the number one pick in this draft since he was a freshman. I would say he's probably the most hyped QB prospect since Andrew Luck.

Justin Fields is the next Dwayne Haskins, therefore wasting a pick on him when your current QB is better would be the perfect move for the jets.

^This.^ Lawrence, Luck, Manning, Elway. Those are the 4 that had this kind of hype.

Did you hear that Andrew Luck retired?

I heard he was out at Ol' Waverly looking at houses.

Random thought that I had is that Lawrence single handedly changed the playoff landscape by getting COVID. If he doesn’t get it, ND is out and A&M is in, probably as the 4 against #1 Clemson, then you have #2 Bama against #3 Ohio State.
