Kevin Steele hasn’t been a head coach in nearly 20 years. In his only head coaching experience, he was 9-36 at Baylor from 1999-2002, including 1-31 in Big 12 games. Seems like a great hire.

And hiring Chiz worked exactly as planned. If he cared about not cheating, he was too stupid to know it was happening
Not saying it will be that guy, just pointing out they may want to hire someone like that

Hiring Chizik didn’t do **** for them. It was only by hiring the guy that they just fired that got them any sort of success in Chizik’s tenure.

It did involved buying but it wasn't a coach they bought that won the NC.

Steele and Briles go back a long way-to the time Steele was at Baylor and Briles was coaching football at Stephenville. Those two are definitely well-acquainted. Just saying

SEC isn't letting Briles in. He'll never have a P5 job again IMO. But he could be headed to Liberty, where they can redeem his soul.
