Freeze’s job to lose in Auburn. No issues from the SEC Office expected with regards to his candidacy.

I wonder if this search is over before it even officially started.

I would think there might be some blowback, especially this year if they are not “inclusive” at least in the job search.

No sarcastics.

Only schools like MSU are required to interview diverse candidates....Auburn already has their coach in mind.

I’m not sure there’s a more perfect match in the history of sports.

Both as crooked as it gets. If the NCAA still actually cared they’d need to move all operations to south AL. You have to think him beating Bama twice is driving all this. There’s nothing they won’t do to try and stay relevant with Bama over there. I could see them hiring him just to have chance to tout those 2 wins over and over again.

Shocked at the low black enrollment % of Auburn, Arkansas, A&M, and Tennessee.
Just googled current enrollment demographics of all the SEC schools.

The state of Alabama is 25% black, yet public university Auburn's black population is 5%.

You race baiting ....... go run the numbers for the SWAC schools in Alabama, AR and TN. Compare to the demographics of those state populations. Since, you are so concerned.

Freeze and Malzahn’s backgrounds are remarkably similar. You often see schools go in different directions than the previous HC when making a change like this.

And, yes, this is me trying to convince myself freeze isn’t fixing to go kick our *** at Auburn in route to Atlanta in 2022.

Were Allen Green and Freeze at UM at same time?

I wonder how that plays into this....

Is that really what you want to argue in response? I mean, if you had asked what percentage of Black applicants got accepted to
Auburn, that would be a reasonable question. Instead, you point to enrollment at schools that are not on a par with Auburn academically because they were established solely so the states you name could justify keeping the state universities 100% White and were and still are funded at a miniscule fraction of the funding given the historically White universities. Do you really believe that the fact that the student bodies of those schools are not 70% White is due to the schools denying admission to White applicants? You must, because that is the only reason your question would even be remotely relevant.

No, the Liberal from Iowa implied that the demographics of the student body of those state schools should be equal to the demographics of the state population. PERIOD. No explanation was given. Just student body should equal state population. I pointed to the SWAC schools to show how ridiculous that line of thinking is. There are many variables that determine the demographics of a student body.

I don't see where he suggested that the percentages should be equal, and I don't see anything in his post that can fairly be called race baiting. In fact, it struck me as passing strange that, according to the article, the percentage of Black students at UA is over twice what it is at AU and at USA is nearly 5 times what it is at AU. What "variables" do you think account for those differences?

It's coming and it may be this coaching search season. I've already seen one tv story on the lack of black head coaches in college football. I don't care who is coach if he does a good job.

Wait until they want an Eskimo, Gay Woman as head coach for a college football.
