Occurred in the first quarter. Who can pinpoint it?

The Emerson personal foul on the punt return gave a checked out Auburn team all the motivation they needed to actually try and win the game. The rest of the game the jawing increased and continued to motivate them. Just play the game, idiots.

I thought the overthrow to Griffin in the third quarter was big. Had a TD. Bad overthrow.

Someone on here’s been saying all year that Rogers can’t throw a deep ball. I hate to say he’s right - but there were some ugly throws last night. Definitely something he’s got to work on.

Heath could have had a TD catch. Spivey dropped a ball when he was wide open inside the 10. Osiris dropped a deep ball. Rogers threw two picks when he should have thrown the ball away. Rogers/Walley couldn’t connect on a ball that could have been a TD late in the game.

Lots of missed opportunities last night.

It's not so much he can't throw it it's more that he refuses to try. Which is far worse.

Auburn getting a timeout milliseconds before we stuffed them on 3rd down deep in their territory.

They then converted and marched down the field for a TD. If we get the ball back at midfield there, we might pull it out.

The biggest play of the game was Gus calling TO on his own 5 just before they ran a 3rd down play that didnt get a first down

recievers let us down last night. Rogers is a true freshman. Who do you even compare him to in the SEC in recent memory?

see quaors mentioned this already

We’re not going to throw the ball over the top of a lot of the coverages we’re seeing. When Leach says ‘we have to take what the defense gives us’, that’s not a ball 40 yards down the field.

Plus, that gets us behind the chains which we simply can’t afford.

We had 240 yards of offense last night. What is this "take what the defense gives us" Leach is speaking of?

At the 5:13 mark in the first quarter the flag was waved off for targeting/hitting a defenseless player by #13 of Auburn for hitting Marks. That was a big play. Then on the play Spencer was injured at the 7:40 mark in the fourth quarter he is called for targeting. If you have the game recorded go back and compare the two and tell me which one seems to have more intent to injure.

I still don't understand HOW they can drop the unnecessary roughness even if they rule no targeting. I thought the targeting on Marks was marginal but definitely unnecessary roughness for a defenseless player. Never saw the replay of Spencer's foul.

I thought Spivey's drop and big fouls were mojo killers. I got chastised for saying he needs to cut that crap or give his scholly to someone else, but he cost his team big time and I wouldn't have any patience for that **** especially against a ref no matter what happens. Tough to do sometimes but it makes you look you are uncontrollable and replaceable,

It’s not unnecessary roughness if it’s not targeting. It’s still legal to hit a receiver as long as you don’t use your head or hit his head. The hit was shoulder pads to chest. Perfectly legal.

I only got to watch the 2H but I thought that was the biggest play of the game, at least that I watched, as well. Big 3rd down conversions like that are back breakers to teams with less depth and are already underdogs. Believe me, I know.

Ovirus Mitchell dropping a ball thrown right to him - right in his hands; what a shocker. That guy can't catch a cold. Total liability every time he steps on the field, witness VS UF 2018- dropped the touchdown pass that would have won the game. Never forgive him for that.

This is correct. Our offense looked awful most of the night but that over throw seemed to be the nail in the coffin. I thought we had a stretch where we played with some confidence and dropped passes or missed an open guy for 6.

Either way, we had 78 yards at halftime. There's no way to spin that.
