Monday is suppose to be a good news day. It would be great to get something good tomorrow. Are they not hinting at possibilities ??

He is a super athlete and will be the RB in this class. Hunter wanting to wait until February just cost himself a spot.

I had my money on Watkins out of Texas for RB along with Hunter. Interesting. He is an impressive DB too looks like.

Leach is not playing games. If you want to wait and see who offers, he is moving on. There is zero reason to wait since you can't have recruiting visits. If you are wanting to wait this year, you are looking for more offers. And you won't be at MSU

Not to mention that Price is a good bit better player than Hunter with many more Power 5 offers.

I’m not a huge crootin guy. But it amazes me how year over year, OM is always higher than us.

A big part of it is recruiting readership clicks. Basically, Ole Miss lives on recruiting so they will Click Click Click on websites to follow it. In turn, these sites use said clicks to pump up ratings to make it seem they are just killing it in recruiting. Think Tennessee, they perennially suck yet every year they sign a “top 15” class. Pretty much the same thing with OM.

Yet most years the talent on the field is the same with MSU having the edge on defense & OM having the edge on offense

There are a couple reasons for why they usually out recruit us:

1. MSU usually focuses more on instate kids & MS kids are "typically" underrated compared to other southern states.
2. Secondly, MSU does as good or better job with JUCO kids than any team in the country & they are habitually destroyed in the recruiting rankings. For example: Montez Sweat was a 3 star.
3. MSU usually recruits better in the trenches, which is where the recruiting sites miss the most & the players develop the most.

JUCO kids are historically underrated, no doubt. Especially this year since they’ll all have 3 (and some 4) years of eligibility. That’s a huge value add. MSU and OM both have some really good looking JUCO commits that will impact winning next year, but aren’t having big impacts on eithers recruiting rankings.
