How many Californians do we really think are fleeing from the state? I know we’ve had Musk, Rogan, and John Moxon. But what about non-QB stars and the common man? Do we think this is going to be a mass exodus? Has anyone seen any articles written with actual numbers and projections? As a Texas resident, I’m really interested in this.

Also, if you’re one of the ones doing this move to Texas from CA, remember not to vote for the **** you’re running from.

Just Remember what has happened to Georgia. Having Socially Liberal but Fiscally Conservative people move to your State means they are still going to vote Democrat most of the time.

The building we are in in a suburb of Memphis was just bought by someone who owns a business and operated out of California. He has now moved his huskiness to Tennessee as of 2 weeks ago

Everyone seems to be coming here. The housing market has been nuts the last two years and "Don't California Up My Texas!" t-shirts are out in force. Land taxes are going up and cities like Austin are taxing folks out to the outer cities (like myself) and just driving in on the toll roads.

Still... they just keep coming and BIG Business is erupting in the Austin area.

At least we will have a good manufacturing base to go along with the oil and everything else when we secede from the Leftist Un-United States (formerly know as) America when AOC, Harris, Pelosi and the rest get their way.

Y'all come on out our way. We've got lots of room.

Yeah that’s the issue. They are fleeing commie states ruined by libcucks and then they want to come and vote Democrat. Like some kind of a 17ing addict that just can’t stop.

I’m all for secession. Let the libcucks and those who vote for such move to blue states and turn them into a woke wasteland like Portland.

Yeah this is not a new phenomenon. Businesses have been fleeing California for a decade bringing people with them. DFW and Austin are busting at the seems because of it too.

Disclaimer. Not trying to start a political thing with this, just a fascinating look at how quickly demographics can change during rapid growth. This is a county with over a million people and it has completely changed in 8 years because of transplants. I decided to look up the election results from my old home county, a major DFW suburban area and the trend suggests Texas is going to become the next California.... Not that there is anything wrong with that.***

Yes. You are reading that right Romney won by 32% in 2012 and Trump by only 4% this year. No foul play either. The yard signs match the vote totals all 3 times. Wild how quickly it has shifted.

Yeah, I'm through fighting. I wish all my Mid South friends and Dawgs could join us out here in the Hill Country and Mississippi as well as MSU have a huge part of my heart. I'm not going to argue with the 17tards any more.

I never understood why California and the rest of the Tax The Rich legion thought when they levied all those taxes, the folks with money would just "suck it up" and pay it. Dumb 17ers.

I don't have **** but I am to blame for that myself and I am not going to hate anyone who has been successful and made some money. They earned it.

Don't care much for the folks who got their fortune from Diddy but not much I can do about that.

If you have worked your *** off and made your money and paid your fair share of taxes, then why the 17 should I want you to give it all to the government? They can't run anything correctly.

Colorado is a much better example, has turned totally Blue now.

California is a prime example of what happens when politics goes too far left. These people will move, but they will continue to vote for the same type of politicians that made California such a mess now. It’s sad, but you know social justice and all that!! Who cares about anything else right?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Texas turns blue one day.

Wasn't hard to do with "Drive through Voting" in Houston and some other tricks they pulled. They just underestimated the total smaller town vote. We have some big *** cities but the Liberal masses are mostly downtown.

The Austin city limit voters gave themselves a 25% tax increase for a rail system they should have started ten years ago instead of paying for drum circles and new music places downtown that have shut down because of covid or this year's communist fashion cause.

Funny that the rest of the folks are heading north to Georgetown, Round Rock, and Leander like I did or South to Buda or San Marcos. Actually, it's understandable.
