MSU -17.5
O/U 132.5

I have nothing on Jackson State, they have not played yet this year due to cancelled games.
Return their best player and preseason SWAC player of the year, Tristan Jarrett. Expecting DJ stewart to be guarding him

Would like to see Deivon Smith be aggressive coming off the bench. And hopefully for Ado to get some confidence on the offensive end, but not to force anything

I have wondered about the future of MSU basketball after perry and woodard era, but seems to be in good hands for next 3 years with Iverson, DJ, and Tolu all being Sophomores

Iverson has taken a huge step forward. He looks like he will be great this year. Just need to fix out defense.

I’m on the -17.5... hopefully we pick it up

Ado has tried to create offense in each game this season and i think he has been called for charging every time he has tried.

Tonight's charge was frustrating because it was a good spin move. Hopefully he keeps that move thru this season.

If Ado could find just a couple of decent moves it would help tremendously. Nobody is asking him to be some kind of beast. He just needs to be able to have some sort of threat to score other than wide open dunks.

Howland is the college equivalent of “C’s get degrees”

He has figured out a way to do the bare minimum to stick around for a while without really accomplishing much of anything.

Well, his team does make an art form of looking horrible for the first 20 minutes, then join the fray at the start of the second half against lesser opponents.

This years expectations are lower, hoping for them to be a bubble team which seems high. 21-22 & 22-23 they should be tournament teams regardless who is coaching

My man Cameron Matthews is gonna be a good glue guy for this team. Makes good passes, gets tough rebounds, and plays really good perimeter d.

I have a hot take about this team... they will start clicking at some point and then be a very good team. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later and we don’t have too many bad loses. I really like the guards and think we have enough size that can really be tough to deal with. This team just needs to get use to playing with each other

They’re going to have growing pains and will probably go through frustrating stretches. Just don’t know how talented they are compared to the rest of the conference.

It's gonna be a long season. I don't see anyone that's a "takeover" guy who can score consistently. And we are a piss poor free throw shooting team. But if everyone keeps working hard and figures out how to play together, they have a chance to be a tourney team next year. We will be in most games this year because of our size and athleticism.

You and I already talked about the youth of this team I believe. You can see they are still trying to gain some confidence and score. But you can also see some glimpses of a possibly good team if they can get the chemistry and confidence as a group.

One difference from our past young teams, you can see some very raw talent that could take off at any time. Before it was good players who may develop into something by their junior year. We have more athleticism in our young players than in past teams.

I think Iverson and then tolu will become the "takeover guy" when you need for sure baskets

Maybe Tolu grows into it. Molinar is a little too streaky but hopefully he gets more consistent.

Lots of size and athleticism on this squad. There's a lot to be excited about. But we've got a lot of growing to do as a team.

100% agree lots of growing to do. I think Dayton will give us a true picture of what growing pains to expect in SEC play. But I have enjoyed the strides Molinar has made from freshman to sophomore year

Davis looks like he can be a offensive contributor too.

I like Davis's game a lot. Just need him to settle down, he is like a bull in a china shop on the low post. But brings a nice physicality coming off the bench, that I feel we have lacked in year's past
