I can see it now:
MSU vs Wash. St.

That’s a pretty big deal for our bowl chances. The Vegas Bowl getting cancelled shrunk our margin for error, but this being on the table kinda erases that. Good chance we get in no matter what now (assuming no more bowl cancellations, knock on wood).

State has pretty darn good ties with military scenario down through the years, not to mention Foglesong. Hell Old Main was mainstay..old war skul..and Sonny Montgomery who was big friends with Hoerge Herbert Bush

Where are all the sponsors that are going to invest money in bowl games during Covid-19? How are these bowl games going to not be money looses? The select few will be successful but who will take the financial risks involved in 2020?

I suspect you will see much more scaled back bowl activities and maybe even reduced payouts in order to make the bowl work based off of the ESPN or other TV money. ESPN needs the content so they will probably work to make it happen. The bowl without the fans really don't make sense for all the local sponsors that support the bowls. Only reason for them to push forward is they do have fixed expenses that aren't going away so their goal may have to be just losing less money than they would without the bowl, and to keep people invested for future years.
