Back when I was at State, I got my car stolen. It was parked in a friends parent's carport in a nice neighborhood. Eventually the car was found and returned to me from the crooks. But, at that point, damage had been done and it cost me to get it returned. The law returned my car to me but it was never quite the same again.

The last few days have felt just like that.

No matter what cheating and crooks get discovered or whose legal teams out maneuver the other, damage has been done and I don't know if it will ever be quite the same again.

Almost funny... and nice point.
I hate that the NBC news folks (maybe others) keep saying there is "no proof to any illegal voting", which just isn't true. Maybe it's not enough to tilt the election, but obviously some votes were illegally cast.
But the painful truth is : If Trump treated people differently in public, it wouldn't even be close. Lesson learned maybe.

It was the barrage of Tweets and the name-calling that made enough people dislike him that it turned the tide. He did a good job otherwise.

If it makes you feel better, there's nothing going on right now that doesn't go on in the days after every election. They'll be counting the last few ballots in every state for days, if not weeks, like they did in 2016, 2012, 2008, and every previous election.

Yes, really the only difference here is that the margins are extremely close. Think Michigan in 2016.

No, the difference is that cheating got much easier because of all the places where you no longer have to request ballots. There's always been cheating, but it was harder to cheat at scale.

suburban white women. they hate them some trump.

This is certainly the case, but the biggest Trump supporter I know is a 40 year mother of three in my neighborhood. Trump flag. Trump yard sign. Trump carved pumpkin. Trump life sized cutout.

Just because your candidate didn’t win, doesn’t mean there is fraud. Trump told his base not to vote by mail - which is perfectly legal and which the president has done in the past as well as his family did this year.

The election is never official until the state’s certify them - which will happen in the next couple of weeks. Ohio decided to count their mail-in ballots first and republicans actually sued Pennsylvania to not count those ballots until after Election Day. The ballots that are currently being counted are the ones that came in before Election Day, they just weren’t counted on Tuesday.

As Mississippi State fans, I think we should all know what it feels like to lose a close matchup where we got our hopes up. When you only have two choices one has to win and one has to lose. And when you lose it’s not always because the other guy cheated.

Oh, about that... one of my "Karen" friends told me that if there was ACTUALLY anything illegal going on behind the closed polling doors that it would be out in the OPEN.

What do you say to logic like that.

Election night- Trump has Florida and is rolling and leading in every swing state.

Fox News calls Arizona for Biden out of the blue with millions of votes left to count.

This call serves as a signal to start the illegal ****.

Trump promptly starts losing his lead in every swing state.

Penn even shuts it down to tally/figure their needed votes.

The night was prefaced by the mail in votes would be counted first and then the Election Day votes. They also stated that some mail in votes would be held and counted the following day. I wonder why.

The Democrats’ symbol should be a Fox. They are smart and they are conniving. They had this planned for years.

How coincidental is it that Trump’s lead started fading in EVERY swing state after the Arizona call? It was a constant diminishing lead in every single state, and it all started at the same point in time.

It doesn’t matter who votes. It only matters who counts the votes.

GOP state legislatures literally decided to not allow mail in ballots to be counted until after. This was on them, Democrats and Republicans watch the votes being counted. Ironically enough, there were Republican officials telling folks to send in ballots now and a GOP county official voted using his dead mother’s ballot, got caught, and now is going to jail.

Don’t you think if it was “rampant cheating” that the Democrats would’ve used it to not lose valuable house and senate seats to GOP?

Which state legislatures decided that?

Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia?

The tide turned in each of these states at the exact same time.

I can’t wrap my head around it. Am I supposed to believe that Fox is now against President Trump?

The head of their decision desk is a Democrat.

He was questioned multiple times about the call and he stated that he was certain that he was correct within 4 standard deviations, whatever that means. The race was obviously much closer than what they anticipated and no call was warranted at that time.

He got beat. Did shenanigans happen? Probably, but its politics, shenanigans always happen. Was it enough to swing an election? Experts will debate it for years but we will probably never know. But much like most candidates that lose, like Hillary in 2016, Trump only has to look in the mirror to see who to blame. In a perfect world he should have put a governor on his Twitter account and cut out some of the nonsense. But we don't live in a perfect world and a tiger can't change his stripes.

The thing to think about though is he not been so brash and braggadocios, eager to stick his thumb in most democrats, the MSMs, and everyone that didn't want the apple cart overturned eyes then those people would not have pulled out all the stops, spent untold billions of dollars, and gone to the ends of the earth to make sure that he did not get another four years in the Oval Office. But had he not done all of that then his supporters would not have loved him the way a politician has probably never been loved before. You probably don't see millions of people that have never had an interest in politics in their entire lives spend tens of millions of dollars on cheap red hats, stand outside for hours in the wee hours of the night in 26 degree weather with wind blowing 20 mph on a November night in western Pennsylvania, and not stood in lines for 2-3 hours during a pandemic that has killed millions worldwide just to put a check by his name. At the end of the day he is who is and his presidency was what it was. Like him or not, he was a political phenomenon of which we will likely never see again. People will never look at politicians and the media the same again. And maybe thats a good thing.

He really is not unlike a shooting star. There are untold billions upon billions of meteors going about their business flying through space. Most will never be seen, thought about, or have any impact on Earth. They will go on and do so until whatever happens at the end of space and time. But every now and then one will find Earth in its crosshairs. If its lucky enough to enter our atmosphere at night it may put on a spectacular show. But the downside is that while it may get lots of "ohhs and ahhs," the brighter it gets the quicker it will burn out. Call it the price of fame if you will. Most of us will see a few of these in our lifetime, depending on the amount of time we spend looking up. But once every couple of centuries we(the royal "we" if you will) will see one of these. We never see them coming and we likely will never be the same again. This is the phenomenon that is Trump.

For full effect check out a few minutes of the video

Something to think about, absolutely not a prediction nor a theory, but what will Democrats and the media do if you replace 2017 with 2021, replace Trump with Biden, and replace Russia with China. Insert a dossier. Stranger things have happened.

As someone who doesn't care for either candidate, the 'stop counting votes' thing is like a mass hysteria version of "if I close my eyes, the monsters will go away."

The most important thing, more than who wins or loses, is the process of democracy. A peaceful transition of power in the world throughout time is a rare thing. If somebody's person doesn't win, okay. In four years you get another chance. Like, why get lost in all the drama?

More Americans have died this year to covid than in all the wars we've ever been in combined.

Have you seen what it’s doing in the EU. Population adjusted they’re right there with us if not worse. The difference is we actually report our numbers. If you think China, Russia and several other countries similar to those haven’t surpassed our numbers by far then you just don’t want to see it.

And what does that have to do with anything I posted other than to support what I said about their willingness to stand in line?

You suck but have a we suck on behalf of SPS

Funny how there is a major issues in PA when one of the candidates is from that state. My my how things have changed from 4 years ago. Then it was Trump cheating with Russia's help so democrats didn't do **** for their people for a couple of years in an effort to impeach Trump. Fast forward to now and it's ok to cheat since Biden won. Why is DC boarded up? You think they're worried about Trump supporters rioting lol? Bunch of damn hypocrites.
