For those eligible for an AAFES account, they had some online for $.42/round. It is brass casings as far as I can tell.

Vans in Brandon usually has good inventory and I have sporadically found 5.56 at Academy.

Guns and Gear in Gluckstadt may have some some, but you will pay a premium.

I hate to post my secret but Rogers Sporting Goods in Liberty, Mo is the best place to buy ammo. They are a great company that usually ships out same day. You won't find 35 cent per round for 5.56 anymore but if they have it on their website they have it in their warehouse. As risky as purchasing ammo online right now they are the only place I would trust. They are usually my go to place for steel shot and AR ammo.

in addition to ammo, I'd also buy all the high capacity mags you think you'll ever need.

In addition to ammo, that gunbot above includes mags, reloading equip and a body armor link for those looking for such.
I blew it out at the gun show yesterday, well mags n such. The ammo was smoking a big fattie!!

Academy in Tupelo has a lot of it right now. Bought 400 more rounds today. They have it behind the counter behind the rifle scopes.

38 cents a round for the Winchester M193 full jacket

So what’s your target price per round? Using the gunbot, I didn’t find any of the sub 40cent rounds despite it saying they were in stock. Best seemed to be in the .60-.70 cent range.

also, if you were wanting to buy a complete AR, where would you be looking to buy from?
Don’t have time/patience to build one myself. I already have one, but thinking about adding another. Maybe with M-lock rails. Mine is picatanny

Sorry to hijack, I am having trouble locating .38 rounds in the Hattiesburg area so if anyone has spotted some I would appreciate the heads up.

Someone clue me in to gunbot..

I’ve not clicked a single one that is even close to accurate.
right now, for 5.56 in stock.

2nd line...eagle eye guns, 500 rds of Federal Lake city, $179.xx, .$.39 a round..

link takes me to that ammo but it’s $397...

is it that prices are that fluid depending on demand/inventory?

.

The website the link from gunbot takes you to has a minimum order of 2. The gunbot link is the price for only one. That’s why the price is doubled.

"End the online sale of firearms and ammunitions. Biden will enact legislation to prohibit all online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits, and gun parts."

"

  • Ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Federal law prevents hunters from hunting migratory game birds with more than three shells in their shotgun. That means our federal law does more to protect ducks than children. It’s wrong. Joe Biden will enact legislation to once again ban assault weapons. This time, the bans will be designed based on lessons learned from the 1994 bans. For example, the ban on assault weapons will be designed to prevent manufacturers from circumventing the law by making minor changes that don’t limit the weapon’s lethality. While working to pass this legislation, Biden will also use his executive authority to ban the importation of assault weapons. "

Exactly, both of mine were bought online. Obviously, Joe doesn’t want to allow that.

And even though they came from an online purchase. I still have no desire to become a mass murderer. Perhaps I’ll buy more and see if anything changes.

Online purchases must make people more dangerous right?? Why else would the Dems want to stop it?

You have to do the firearm transfer at a dealer and still have to get a background check no matter how you buy the gun. Makes no sense.

Please excuse the rant.

I bought 200 rounds of 5.56 Winchester White Box for $84 at Academy today.

And yes, your gun rights are about to take a significant hit when the Dems use the nuclear option in the senate to pass legislation.

Hell of a lot more at stake than gun rights!

Before or after tax? They were 79 at Tupelo Academy before this week. Wondering if they are getting more in line with demand.
