He looks good, but I wish we'd not waited to when we were down 21 to put him in.

I like how he doesn't hold on to the ball

however with his build he's one good hit from being broken in half. We are truly 17ed at the QB position.

Its Will's team from here out. KJ is done. And Will is tougher than KJ. He may get broken in half but he is a gamer for sure. There are a lot of NFL QB that aren't big enough either, yet they will be in the HOF

Got to go with Rogers from here out. He is pretty mobile in the pocket, has quicker release, and appears to make decisions faster. With our OL, that is our only chance.

Playing a true freshman QB is not ideal, but it’s our best option.

Biggest difference I saw is that he is not gun shy or nervous like the California Kid. Quick release, mobile, but raw, raw, raw.

I hope we do start him but it has some feeling like last season with the Sr. getting the start.

Nothing to lose at this point but experience to gain for the young man.

He has to be the guy the rest of the way, just hope this o-line doesn’t get him killed. We did look a little better with him in there, just not sure how much you can take away from one good scoring drive.

This year is now just preparation for 2021 and 2022. Maybe we get a bowl invite this year, maybe not, no idea. But there is no point in not building for the future now, especially when the younger guys are better in many cases.

You're right, he's not a runner but he CAN move his feet in the pocket and move around without looking like a rabbit in the gun sights.

He isnt mobile, but kj makes him look so

He’s not Fitz/Prescott mobile, but he moves pretty well in the pocket. Kind of reminds me of how Minshew moves. Rogers has pretty quick feet and can buy time, which is required with this OL. The best thing he does is make quick decisions, has a quick release, makes accurate throws for a freshman, and knows the offense.

I’m not saying Rogers is a world beater at this point in his career, but he’s clearly our best option. Not saying we are going to turn into a good offense from here on out, but we should improve going forward.
