so much is different this year that we should be disappointed...

I'm not going to jump off the bandwagon yet because after watching MSU for more than 40 years this is not a surprise. I think we were given a false sense after the win over LSU (seeing now that Pellini's defense is not good at all). Putting all that has happened this off-season (new coach, new system, new players, no spring or fall practices) you would figure the simple lack of experience would come into play. It's not fun to see this in comparison to what Kiffen is doing at TSUN. At least we gave Moorhead two years. I am saying let's give Leach at least two seasons. What can MSU lose since MSU has never really had a ton of success even with Dan Mullen?

This will not be a popular take right now, but I don’t think you’re wrong. I never thought we’d be good this year. Most didn’t. But it just looks different than we expected.

Here's why it looks different: because we expected our defense to suck but our offense to at least have a pulse.

When your coach is an offensive savant (allegedly) and you can't score, that's not a good sign. We just lived this with Moorhead for two years.

It may be a premature thing to say and I understand people who think that, but I've already seen enough of Leach. I've seen enough poorly-coached football teams to know it.

I just remember that 5 win first year of Mullen. Yeah we only one 5, but we were a team full of no talent, and we played like our hair was on fire no matter what. We had energy. Moorhead immediately looked the opposite, and now so does Leach. Awesome.

Everybody in the country has faced the same off season and the same disease. We have very poor route runners , a confused Oline that cannot block 3, and no QB that can get rid of the ball quickly against a d dropping 8 because of the poor route running. You cannot stand and wait for guys to come open. You got to throw quickly, and neither QB understands that.

No. We didn't just live this for two years with Moorhead.

I've been a fan for nearly 40 years. I want a divorce. Roll Tide. 17 this

I've said many times that when I die I hope my pall bearers are Mississippi State football players so they can let me down one more time.

We don’t look good, but our receivers look bad (which is what I expected u til the fools gold of the LSU game) and Costello is an awful decision maker (granted his confidence may be shaken by not being able to trust his receivers to sit down in the holes of a zone.

Give him time to get receivers who catch and a an that can make good decisions, and things look different.

We didn't live two years of poor offensive football under Joe Moorhead? Were you out of the country or something?
