Absolutely fantastic series. Its brutal there are so few episodes per season because you want more, but having so few makes each one so packed with plot, character, and revelation.

I thought it sucked. Watch a couple episodes and gave up. It's like Hollywood wanted to make an overtly perverted version of The Watchman for no other reason than shock value. It feels like it was created solely for the purpose of showcasing "toxic masculinity" and other political agendas. I swear it was liked they asked Twitter to write a show.

I think you got it wrong. To me, it’s more of a behind the scenes look at how celebrities truly are and how companies manipulate perception of them and the public at the same time.

There’s no political agenda at all imo.

Really? Could you give examples of "political agendas"?

Is it political agenda or is it showing media manipulation, social media manipulation, and the pitfalls of idolization?

It's the anti-traditional hero story, so yeah toxic masculinity can be seen since again, its the anti-traditional hero story.
Real life issues such as body dysmorphia, a lesbian, and corporate corruption are also storylines- so it sounds like its best thst you continue to not watch and keep thinking its all a political agenda.

Can you show us where Homelander hurt you ? I think it shows what would really happen if people had super powers. Who honestly thinks they would behave like Superman does if you were invincible ? I'm pretty sure any of us would do terrible things
