I'm not super offended if a voter has LSU ranked ahead of Mississippi State. We were the better team Saturday, but I don't fault voters for taking a wait-and-see approach.
Now, having us unranked completely is... questionable.

I was very, very pleased with what I saw Saturday in all three phases. I'm trying not to overreact, because there's some of that going around.

It's amazing.

A lot of these guys vote for helmets and names and that's about it. We gotta earn that respect. We're getting some positive press right now, which is a strange feeling.

I was watching College Football Final over the weekend thinking they'd have a lot of praise for our team - but when they get to the helmet sticker segment, not a single mention. We go into Death Valley and roll up 620 yards passing and shatter SEC records while beating the defending national champions and it doesn't even get an honorable mention.

They did an early helmet sticker segment not long after they showed the highlights of our game. They gave Costello the recognition he deserves.

They gave Costello a helmet sticker but they did them in the middle of the broadcast which was odd.

I think its funny that people still think the AP / Coaches polls are relevant. The CFP committee ranking has rendered all of them completely obsolete. The only ones that matter are the last ones.

I'm pretty sure the one vote Ole Miss got was intended for Miss State. They are just like all the others, "Lazy"

Sure there are some snubs on that list, but there are a lot of top 10 votes too. Including Rece Davis.

Wait and see what? The only evidence available to judge whether State is better than LSU was the game, and we won it decisively. If more evidence presents itself such as us losing several and LSU going on to win a bunch, you can at that point say LSU is better; but as of now there's no question we are the better team. There's no overreacting, it's just plain ole reacting.

Anyone that has LSU ahead of us is lazy and/or an idiot, and anyone that has us unranked should be stripped of their voting privileges, especially if they voted for LSU and not us. They clearly did not pay attention to the games, shouldn't be allowed to vote.

After games have started, the polls should be based on performance, not predictions about who is going to end up being good. The first few weeks, there should be some pretty wild fluctuations in ranking if you believe the ranking is supposed to be merit based and not predictive.

I'm sorry BUT any voter including Oklahoma and/or LSU in top 10 AFTER their loss this weekend, are idiots and should be called out and ridiculed for their ignorance.

It’s not their fault. They are still confused how we lost to UF and beat LSU in the same weekend.***

If only there was some sure fire way like a head-to-head competition to prove that 2020 MSU was a better team than 2020 LSU***
