If you’re on Instagram check out @stonedapetite for Denver recommendations. The guy who runs it is an MSU Dawg and would gladly steer you in the right direction if you send him a message.

If you happen to pass through golden around lunch hit up d’deli. It’s a staple. Very weird but great sandwiches in an awesome little town. https://www.ddeligolden.com/. There’s a cool little pizza joint next door too.

Hit up snooze for breakfast or brunch. There are a few of them around the area.

That’s if you go through Denver and and don’t take 24 out of Colorado Springs.

Daylight hike in redrock park with Kosher Kush preroll and your favorite thermos of coffee.

If it’s a clear day, which you have a 70% or better chance, sunniest city in the USA...nothing better than the park. It’s quick, free and utterly beautiful.

I was there on Sept 4th. Idk who what or why, but during my daylight hike, someone inside of the amp theatre turned on a recording of Scottish bagpipes. Maybe they do it often because of the acoustics or specific echo...no clue. One of the coolest things I’ve ever heard.

Denver...

Colorado Springs and Breckinridge on Sunday. Need some must eat and must do/see places!
We lived in CO 11 years before retiring back to MS. Every visitor should try Buckhorn Exchange - great atmosphere and good food. Try Beau Jos in Idaho Springs. Second on the suggestion of Red Rocks - do it in the morning and then have breakfast at the Blue Cow in Morrison.

Make a reservation at The Fort in Morrison. Great views and very good Bison steaks.

the elk are doing their thing right now in Evergreen. Closer than Estes Park and as many elk. Highly recommend an hour or so in that delightful mountain town. Saigon Landing is top notch Vietnamese restaurant, but lots of good restaurants in Evergreen.

you will be there on color weekend. Just head up the mountain and enjoy👍.

I talked to your wife and she said the following for you:
Please come to Denver with the snowfall
We'll move up into the mountains so far that we can't be found
And throw "I love you" echoes down the canyon
And then lie awake at night till they come back around
Please come to Denver

It’s prime leaf season. Should be beautiful up near Break, come up from CO Springs via HWy 24 and 9. Boreas Pass.

Food in Breckenridge
Twist, Relish, Canteen Tap House, Blue Moose.
Check out original Breck Brewery.
Outer Range Brewery in Frisco

A lot of good hiking around Breckenridge and Lake Dillon. Be sure to drive over to Loveland Pass it’s coming back towards Denver.

Guanella pass is very beautiful also.

Don’t spend much time in the Springs but check out the Broadmoore Hotel
Great golf course
Look for a Sloper on the menu in Colorado Springs it is in hamburger with green chili on top and they’re the bomb. Really popular in southern Colorado.

If come up by Golden Be sure to check out Main Street. Buffalo rose is great to watch some football.
New terrain brewery and Mountain toad brewery If you’re in this area shoot me a DM.

Buffalo Bill’s graveside on Lookout Mountain has a great view.

Denver has everything going, great food and drinks. Good sports bars downtown by Coors field.
