Scott Lashley Out for the Season

[MSUDC11]

Per Robbie Faulk.

I don't think he was going to be a starter but that definitely sucks for depth purposes. And I'm not sure he's a starter if he comes back next year either.

Hate that he's injured though. Him not coming here out of high school is definitely a what-if. Obviously his career has not turned out liked he hoped so far.

We should’ve gotten a DB with that scholly.

Hindsight is 20/20. Also, that was a Moorhead call. Lashley was enrolled in classes at MSU before we even hired Leach. I think he was expected to be a starter before the start of camp but Dolla Bill emerged as the guy at RT and Eiland was better at guard. He still would've played this year though, he was going to be one of our top backup linemen.

It’s gonna take several years to get over the damage Morehead done in such a short time...

[TrueMaroonGrind]

Man he is one of those guys who just can’t get on the field. He is 100% a what-if and that stinks.

Depth issues, especially in the upper class, are a Mullen problem, not Moorhead.

I mean I can't even imagine what the defense would have looked like last year if those 2017 JUCO guys had qualified. Mullen left us in a big pile of ****, stockpiled the roster to win immediately so he could left, future be damned.

[Ralph Cramden]

Exactly right Russ. We were screwed last year by Dan not filling a lot of holes in 2017. And still feeling some of it
