That's even more laughable than Hyde-Smith only being up on Espy by a few percent. Yeah, no bias there at all. **

The same pollster, The Tyson Group, also put out polls yesterday saying that Trump is up by only 4 in Alabama and is down 4 in Texas. That should tell you everything you need to know about The Tyson Group.

In their defense, I think lot's of polling groups are showing Texas in play. Not sure what is going on there as they showed Beta as competitive also. Maybe a lot of the Houston population shows up in polls but doesn't turn out to vote? I know they're supposed to correct for that, but maybe the effect is more pronounced in Texas for some reason.

Beto lost by 2.5%. Polls were in line with this final result. Also, 2.5% is absolutely "in play". In this particular race, less than 110k voters would have flipped the race out of 8.4 million ballots cast.

Trump will win by 7% or more in Texas. Follow the money and candidates. If Texas was in play Hiden would be there every single day making a push. Follow the Candidates if you really want to know what is going on. Their internal polls are correct.

I'll stipulate it is more likely donnie wins Texas by 7, than for Biden to win it. But if Biden were to win Texas, that would be a gigantic cherry on top of an enormous Democratic 2020 landslide. So I guess I'm saying I agree with you, but for different reasons: Biden doesn't need Texas, he is going to the states he needs.

On the other hand, donnie's campaign did a bus tour in Texas a couple weeks ago, coming after a visit to SE Texas after Hurricane Laura and a July visit to the oil patch.

I'd love to see a Libertarian who has a chance to win so I could vote 3rd party.

Unfortunately at this point, it would be a wasted vote. And since in this election (like a lot lately) I will not be voting FOR anyone, but instead voting against the more harmful of the two major candidates, I don't feel like the country can afford any wasted votes.

It's a suboptimal situation for sure.

We should follow Maine's lead and adopt ranked choice instant runoff voting, which would allow you to do both.

I don't think our Presidential choices are the greatest either.

Amen to that. Once aGain our choices are: (A) Steamy **** sandwich OR (B) Deep fried **** on a stick, either way you vote you're going to wind up with the taste of **** in your mouth.

Gonna call BS. Just don't think this race is that close! This is the same 538 that called 2016 for Hillary at 71.4% and only gave Trump a 28.6% shot!

Yea, 538 is about polling BUT is way biased in their polling!

I think the Republican could lose Maine but gain Alabama. It is going to be a wash in the Senate.

The Republicans will hold the Senate, but may lose two seats in the process. The Race in Colorado will turn Blue, unfortunately.

I am convinced that Texas U.S. Senate Race told us a lot more about Ted Cruz than it did about the popularity of Beto and/or an Inevitable Blue Wave taking over Texas

And they all showed Hillary to win in a landslide. Polls are only as good as the selection process of the people being polled.
