Depth Chart is out

Typical depth chart with a bunch of WTF items that the games themselves will sort out. Guys who work hard in the offseason get rewarded with starts in the first game, even though they won’t get most of the reps. Osirus is definitely still one of our best WR’s....he’s going to play a lot. Craft isn’t going to be logging major reps. Forbes isn’t going to be 2nd string. A lot is going to change.
Leach probably couldn’t name you 5 players on defense... I’m wondering whatever intern that put this out got Landon Guidry confused with a walkon.
Great minds and all that. It was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the SS depth chart.
We aren't completely devoid of talent on D, but most there are definitely some holes in our starting 11. Our lack of depth is what is really scary. Having said that this season is basically a glorified pre-season and if things are back to normal by next year it will hopefully give us a chance to fill our holes.
I hope that starting a man named Londyn at strong safety isn't an omen of things to come. And emphasis on the fact that it's Londyn with a Y, not just plain London. That sounds like a name I'd see in my niece's preschool class.
No disrespect to Mr. Craft, I'm sure he has worked very hard and is a good kid. Just definitely an eyebrow raiser to see a walk-on that most of us have never even heard of listed as a starter for a conference road game against a Top 10 team.

Pretty sure he was being at least a little sarcastic when he said that. I know for a fact there are a couple of guys who have been out and aren't expected to play this weekend (not COVID related, normal football injuries).
I think he was joking. He followed it up with something like "I'm working on my second decade of perfect health." I think that was a tongue-in-cheek version of Mullen's "we don't talk about injuries."
Morgan's career is probably done.He had a major knee injury and still walking around with a limp.
Craft played some last year but I can't recall how well. Seems like he played a little his rs freshman year too. Its gonna be interesting to see how it goes Saturday. LSU roster is all 4 and 5 stars but I don't think they will resemble last years team at all. I'm thinking State by 10
