Longer for the guys who did not want football for political reasons. At least I can turn the TV volume down.
Oh, I agree that there is work to do to improve relationships and work to be done to bring people together as a unified Nation. Black Lives Most certainly matter. But these organizations like BLM and Antifa are the wrong groups to hitch their wagon to. It HAS to start with the churches. It HAS to be Faith Based. If not, it will fail. I guarantee you 100% it will fail if not.
This one and the SMU-TSU games were fun to watch. I haven't been able to do a HS game yet due to teams in quarantine, so today has been fun. It's been a good weekend so far. I got to do a long walk at one of my favorite places yesterday, and it was cool enough to do dinner outside tonight with the family. Good times.
Can you imagine the pearl clutching and gnashing of teeth when one of our players kneels or wears a bandana that says BLM? They'll be crying and swearing off college football forever.
And I’m fine with that! Better than seeing KH cry like a damn baby or hear these espn idiots vomit a bunch of BS
Sorry for the accidental down vote. I fully agree it's nice to have football regardless of who it is.
My grandfather got a football scholarship to play LB at Memphis State but tore his knee up before the season started. Never even played football until he got to Northeast where he played football and basketball.
Yeah, I tried to watch some of Gameday. But when Herbstreet started crying because he is white, I was done. I think my only watching of ESPN this fall will be our game.
The game has been entertaining. So was the SMU Texas State game. I've been hoping some local team would pick it up to give me something to follow around here other than UT.
How many games/weeks do we have to listen to the social justice sermon during the game. I almost vapor locked when some dipshit calling the TSU game said that politics belonged in sports.

Yes, he played for Bonner Arnold of whom the gym at NE is named for. I dont know the exact years but I'm going to guess somewhere between 48-51
I just changed the channel too, unfortunately that’s what’s going to happen to most people and they will ruin it like everything else.
I turn the volume off
Being doing it for years. I'm old and like quiet.
They can say whatever they want. I don't hear it unless it's us playing or a really big game.
