After losing star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin to opt outs in the past 48 hours, LSU coach Ed Orgeron on Tuesday said there are still a couple of other players who are considering whether to play this season.


"There are one or two I know are thinking about it," Orgeron said. "Hopefully they don't. But again, if they do, that's what we'll live with. But we have depth, and if they do opt out, we're still going to have a great football team."

I think that at every school, there are plenty of players who are dying to play this fall and a few that don't want to, some for legitimate reason and some just want the lazy way out.

1. Potential high first round pick that have more to lose than gain by playing.
2. Are ready to move on from football and just want to get their degree while keeping their scholly.
3. Have vulnerable people at home.
4. Wokeness.
