How is Will Wade still employed?

LSU cannot be touched. For whatever reason, they are allowed to openly get away things that would bury other programs. Will Wade, Our Lady of the Lake, OBJ giving out cash on video, etc.

It’s quite remarkable.

For 2 years now I have been saying it will happen to him and others(pearl, self, Miller, etc as general examples). When someone makes the tired joke that Centenary will be punished for LSU's crimes, I say that its coming and the process just takes time.

But 17 I'm losing faith here. I randomly thought about this a couple months ago because I could see the pandemic being reason for the ncaa continuing to struggle to gather info.
There doesn't seem to be enough bodies at the ncaa in the investigation/enforcement level so when there are so many large profile cases of blatant cheating, it takes time.

Wade is a gangsta, as said in the article. He has told everyone to 17 off and pay him.

Same way Hugh Freeze only got a 2-game suspension. The NCAA just doesn't care.

It really is pretty damn amazing that he still has a job and absolutely zero sanctions have been put on the school.

But, with this latest note from the NCAA, it appears that they've got the dirt and they also have Wade/LSU being non-cooperative. Hopefully that's enough to nuke the program for a decade.

How do they get a Level 3 for $2,000 cash payments and Ole Miss got two Level 1’s from $800 value in a loaner car, and a player sleeping on a coach’s couch because his apartment complex was evacuated? It’s almost like the NCAA does whatever the hell it wants.

In Louisiana it really doesn't seem to matter what you do. Whether that be doling out cash to players on the sidelines of a game, doling out cash to recruits with the FBI looking on, stealing money from a children's hospital to funnel to the football program, ignoring players committing rape, etc. Its all good as long as you are winning. Coaches apparently can only lose their jobs from losing too much. All else is forgivable.

Because they knew y'all did a lot more than that and just couldn't prove it.
