Limited ticket timeline

When do we expect to hear from Cohen on who gets to go to games and who gets cut? I believe Tate limited it to 25%, but I think that's just through August. Assuming we wait until the next statement from him, what's the timeline on getting that info to us?

Can't wait to get cut, then have them push the "just donate the money you've spent to the Bulldog Club" agenda.

It's probably just about the same timeline as the go/no go decision on playing the season. And who knows what that is. I posed that question here a while back. I would hate to be one of the decision makers trying to sort out this mess, I know that.

If I make the cut great. If not oh well I will sit at home and watch it. Just play!

When I opted out of my tickets I really expected them to push for the money to be donated but they just asked if I wanted a refund or to roll it to next year. I said refund and that was it.

I heard Bama went with 20% capacity and no on-campus tailgating.

They did, based on points. The students are also cut to 20% and have to enter a drawing. they either get into the drawing for GA and A&M or MSU, KY, and AU.

Auburn went with 20% capacity premium seating and students only. But that may just be one game.

How will they enforce distancing at the games? Nobody's going to want to sit in the upper corner of the upper deck. The enforcement staff will have to be huge. Or will it just be ignored much like masking mandates are being ignored and depend on fans "doing the right thing"?

20-25% capacity, they won't even need the upper decks.

To do 25% and spread everyone out they will have to use upper deck. If they keep every family group six feet from each other they will have to. Maybe the best way is to just let 25% of each section.

Nah, think about it. You can roughly divide the stadium into five equal pieces. Two lowers, two uppers, and the curve. 25% of our stated capacity is 15,000 people. I think you could get that many people onto the three lower parts without too much trouble and space them out.

IF you can fit 15,000 into the lower deck with adequate spacing (you can't), they would go with 40-50% capacity and use the upper decks too.

You could, but you'd no longer have the stated percentage goal. The upper decks hold a pretty substantial portion of the stadium capacity.

Before the upper decks and north endzone were added, the stadium capacity was about 30,000 (maybe 33,000). Add in the lower portion of the endzone student section, and at 25% you might have a 10,000 seating capacity. That doesn't count the premium clubs, but people congregate on the inside of them, so they might not even be open.

Correct.

There are some chairbacks in the upper deck, at least on the west side, so those might be pretty desirable family sections.

I stated this on another board but my opinion is most season tickets who want to attend will be able to. We will probably be able to sit 17,000 or so. We are selling no single game tickets. Lots of people voluntarily opted out this year. I'll bet the total number of season tickets that are left is not that many more than 17,000. Even if it is, i'll bet 80% of requests can be filled.
