I really don’t care if the President is Christian or not. That is between him and God. The point I do care is if protects my right to be Christian, Jew, Muslim, etc.
Believe it or not Democrat’s used to be the party of the working man before it was hijacked to be the party of corporate centrism. The eastern seaboard population centers were heavy catholic and heavy unionized workers. Democrats were their champion (see JFK). A lot of folks lock in to a certain party and never change for any reason. Too much team blue or team red and not enough team rational thinking.

Joe Biden is apparently a practicing catholic as is Nancy Pelosi. It seems that supporting, or at the very least, enabling the murder of a human being in the womb would be kind of a deal breaker for a Christian.
Get out of here with that BS. Question my politics all you want but don’t questions people’s faith. Until a party makes birth control and whacking off illegal a party affiliation is not going to align with Catholic teachings. My Democratic leanings are strongly influenced by me being more of a dove (a Catholic tenet) and concern for the least of our people (a Catholic tenet). Again, I am morally opposed to abortion but I do not believe it should be completely illegal. They are not real Catholics. Just claim to be.

Being Christian should not automatically mean you are in either party. I’d caution anyone listening to any evangelical saying so.
I honestly don’t understand how a Christian can support the death penalty or abortion.
Honestly I’m not sure why so many Christians are Republicans:
- Constantly trying to remove aid for the poor, sick, and elderly
- Want to remove protections from minorities, gays, and other classes discriminated against
- Do not want to protect the environment we are untrusted with
- Believe in money above all other values
I guarantee Jesus does not approve of either party’s platform.
