Anyone have any inside info on why his presser was canceled today?
I agree, but he said he was reviewing plans all weekend and was going to give his recommendation today. Then.... nothing from him.
A lot of people in political circles I know claim he doesn’t wanna push the start date back but is getting pressured heavily to do so.
I wonder what conversations are going on behind closed doors.
We went back today. Everyone is nervous as hell. Our school has a great plan on how to social distance, but it’s still not enough. It’s impossible. There will be an outbreak and we will be sent home again. It’s just a matter of time. I don’t know what the answer is, and kids can’t stay home forever, but outbreaks will happen and more people will die. It’s a no win situation with no right solutions.

I guess 3 is multiple....Corinth Ms started last week and is already reporting multiple positive cases.
So what about a poor kid that lives with grandma? Kid will bring it home for sure.A lot teachers have proved to be pretty dramatic about possibly starting schools. Do they not consider what they do to be essential?
For families that have young kids (younger than 7th or 8th grade) and both parents work, how is distance learning even an option? I got a 6 year old going in 1st grade. First of all, neither her mom nor I will be able to stay home and keep her on task. Second, no way she’s going to sit down and focus on an IPad for several hours a day.

First I sincerely hope you don't get it and die. Secondly that's a pretty dumb statement. You'd rather you're kids go to school, come home with the virus (god forbid), you catch it and die and they grow up without a father! Or worse both parents get it and die. Not smart.

I would rather my kids go to school and learn. I will take my chances with a virus that has about a 1% mortality rate.
