I would’ve thought that he’d have had better offers than Tulane, but I’m not all that surprised that Leach didn’t take a 3rd QB commitment in this class.

Shrader, Mayden, and Rogers returning plus the additions of Greek and Robertson. If you take Keys, it seems as if you’d have to cut at least one of those guys loose, and I’d frankly rather keep the group we’ve got

You won't be keeping them all.

He does have better offers than Tulane. It shows Oregon, Auburn, Louisville, among others. Don’t know how accurate 247 is. One other thing I noticed is Ole Miss has 12 QB’s. TWELVE.
Fake News, 247 still had players that left on there. They only have 7.

That kid could play somewhere bigger than Tulane, but congrats to him if that’s where he wants to go. I’ve enjoyed following him over the years. He’s a stud.

You’re going to see more & more kids that have P5 offers commit to their AAC/C-USA/G5 offers as “placeholders” with so much uncertainty in football right now. It’s a smart move. They know G5 schools won’t back out of their commitment because they don’t typically get those types of commits but P5 schools get these commits fairly often but can back out of that commit quickly if there’s no season, injury, etc. It sucks but that’s the recruiting game now. Don’t sweat it. Keyes will still go P5 and it could still very well be Mississippi State.

Definitely seems unlikely, but that's all the more reason to not take yet another QB in this class IMO. If you're already crowded enough to be losing one, we definitely don't need to be pushing more of our experienced QBs out.
