I’m sure he got nowhere near $250mil. But I bet between CNN settling and now the Washington Post, I bet he ended up with north of $10mil. Good for him. They totally destroyed his life and future employability over a total fabrication in which basic facts and details were never checked or verified. It just fit their political narrative, and they published it. Good for Sandmann.

And if CNN or Washington Post had any standards, the people who went to print with their slander would be fired. I certainly would if my blatant bias cost my company millions of dollars unnecessarily. But I doubt that happened. Just the cost of their outfits fulfilling their biased mission!

I don't think they destroyed his life or future employability. But they did attack a 17ing kid for no reason, and I can't imagine the stress he and his family have been through worrying about whether this will follow him for the rest of his life. He probably could be made whole for a few million, but I hope the defendants are having to pay out at least 8 figures each so they will at least hesitate next time before they attack a private person for no reason other than politics.

And . . . Sandmann isn't done yet.

It looks like he will go after NBC, ABC, CBS, Huffington Post, NPR, Gannett and our good friends over at Twitter.

It couldn't have happened to a more deserving group of people.

I'll kick back with my popcorn and enjoy the show.

Hopefully, Sandmann will stretch it out and inflict as much pain as possible.

Once he gets enough settlement money, he should take the remaining media companies to trial . . . individually, one at a time . . . unless they agree to settle for at least 9 figures.

Your dumbass does nothing but post Fox News articles with no commentary other than your thread title. Have you stopped going to Turkish bath houses?

There is absolutely NO news organization that is worth a **** anymore. They all serve some political master, even Fox.

That's why I stopped watching any national or regional news cast. I will tune into the commie stations here in Austin for weather or sports. I quit watching any newscast of ESPN for the same reasons.

I wish we all would stop. It would lower our collective blood pressure and maybe force them to pay attention to other news than just politics. The world could go to hell and we would never know unless they told us it was Trump's or Pelosi's fault.
